At Central Bayside Community Health Services (CBCHS), community input is important to us.

We welcome Expressions of Interest from community members to participate in our Community Advisory Committee (CAC), to provide advice and feedback on most areas of our operations.

The committee was originally established in 2008 and underwent a review in 2016. The purpose of the CAC is to enable consumer, carer and community participation in our strategy development, operations and planning, in partnership with the CBCHS Board of Directors.

This is a great opportunity to volunteer to have a say on priority areas for CBCHS to help ensure our services meet community needs.

Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of the month, 10-11.30pm six times per year. Meetings can be attended via Zoom or in person.

CAC members will represent the interests of a range of community groups including:

  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
  • Youth and young families
  • Carers support
  • Aged
  • Disability groups
  • Disadvantaged and vulnerable groups
  • Culturally and linguistically diverse groups.

Members are to be appointed as individuals, not as representatives of an organisation.

Send us an expression of interest
