On November 29th 1989, Central Bayside Community Health Services (CBCHS) officially opened from a converted church hall in Mentone.

The centre opened with a small budget of $85,000 dollars and just six paid staff – 30 years later, our team of 250 staff and 207 volunteers provide a range of health, wellbeing, disability and support services across nine different locations to around 17,000 people each year.

To celebrate 30 years of caring for our community, CBCHS is inviting you to share your personal stories and memories of Central Bayside Community Health.

Whether you remember us as Mordialloc Cheltenham Community Health Centre, Heathlands, or Mordialloc Aged Care Services we want to hear about your experiences, funny moments or historical stories.

This is a unique opportunity for staff, former staff, volunteers, clients, former patients and family to help us recognise this milestone and celebrate your local community health service.
