Purpose of the Position

About the Role

CBCHS are currently seeking an experienced, motivated Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our Child & Family Services team. The role will involve high quality assessment, diagnosis, development and management of paediatric clients, 0-12 years old, in partnership with their families, carers and other service providers.

Key Responsibilities

Some key deliverables of this position include:

  • Provide early childhood intervention physiotherapy support to children, 0 – 12 years, and their families;
  • Working as a member of the multidisciplinary team, learning from and supporting all other team members, in order to best meet families’ needs and priorities in the area of gross motor development;
  • While demonstrating a high level of clinical skill, being able to undertake assessment, planning, delivery, evaluation and continuous improvement related to the provision of paediatric physiotherapy;
  • Provide services under both community health and NDIS funding streams.


Key Selection Criteria

About You

You are an AHPRA registered Physiotherapist with demonstrated experience working with children, aged 0 to 12, in a multi- disciplinary team. You are passionate about providing care within a family centred and strength based framework. Your strong communication skills will assist in the ability to liaise with families, carers and other professionals from a diverse range of cultures and backgrounds.
