Accredited Practising Paediatric Dietitian and Certified Paediatric Dietitian Jodi Klooger provides paediatric dietetics services at CBCHS.

Jodi has experience across a range of nutrition issues including fussy eating, food intolerance, gut health and optimal nutrition with first-hand experience helping her own four children develop a healthy relationship with food.

Jodi is a trained Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) therapist who can assist infants, children and adolescents (up to 18 years) and their families to improve dietary intake, eating and sleeping patterns, daily activity levels and medical history.

Services are available for both community health and NDIS Early Childhood Intervention clients.

What services do we provide?

Infants

Our services can help with:

  • Poor growth/failure to thrive /weight faltering
  • Introduction of solid foods
  • Fussy eating
  • Food sensitivities/intolerance/allergies
  • Weaning/formula introduction counselling
  • Nutritional assessment and requirements

Children and adolescents with chronic conditions

Our services can help with:

  • Fussy eating/limited food variety
  • Autistic spectrum disorders and other
  • Neuro-developmental or behavioural disorders
  • Weight management
  • Gastrointestinal conditions including Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Coeliac Disease
  • Food allergies and intolerances
  • Diabetes and endocrinology conditions
  • Nutritional assessment and requirements

Who can access this service?

Children aged 0-18 years.
