Aim
This service provides individual assessment and treatment, and/or group sessions. It is available to people of all ages who live or work in the Kingston Council area.

Clinical Services
The service offers assessment and treatment for individuals with musculoskeletal and movement problems including a paediatric service for babies and children 0-18 years
Aquatic Physiotherapy Program
Located at the Bentleigh Bayside Community Health Service and transport is available from Mentone.
The program is composed of exercises appropriate to individual needs held in a 34 degree heated pool, using buoyancy and flotation to assist movement.
Strength Training Program
Located at the Don Tatnell Leisure Centre in Warren Road, Mordialloc.
This program offers progressive resistance exercise using dumbbells and leg weights. It is for anyone interested in increasing their muscle mass, for people with osteoporosis, some forms of arthritis, diabetes, and for those keen to improve their balance and prevent falls.
Gentle Exercise Groups
Are available at the Chelsea, Clarinda and Parkdale Sites.
Classes are supervised by a physiotherapist and consist of gentle exercises for mobility, strength, co-ordination, balance and cardio-respiratory function. Breathing exercises and relaxation are also included to improve well-being and having fun is compulsory!
Fees apply to all programs.
Referrals are accepted from individuals, family, GPs, council and other health and welfare agencies.
Pensioners and Health Card Holders are given priority but others may apply.
