With the roll out of the NDIS across our region well and truly under way, staff at CBCHS have been busy supporting clients with the transition to the new scheme.

CBCHS has 30 years’ experience working to support people with a disability and is committed to making the transition as smooth as possible while ensuring we also adapt and innovate in response to client needs.

NDIS services

We take pride in our caring approach and encourage people with a disability, their families and carers to think about their current supports and provide us with feedback to ensure we continue tailoring our services to meet individual needs.

We offer a mix of group or individual activities that can be provided within ourcentres or at locations across the community – including participants’ homes.

The type of activities on offer include:

  • Daily Living: Cooking, communication, skills and travel training.
  • Health & Wellbeing: Physical therapy, sport and fitness and hydrotherapy.
  • Work & Learning: Computer training, work skills, numeracy and literacy
  • Recreation & Social Preparation: Outings, volunteering, art and craft.

As an integrated disability and health service we also offer a wide range of registered NDIS Supports including Podiatry, Occupational Therapy, Adult Speech Therapy, Dietetics and Counselling.
