Men’s Interest Group

In August 2003, a men’s health interest group was established in the Kingston/Bayside area. The group is comprised of representatives from local agencies and community members. These include: Kingston City Council, Central Bayside Community Health Services, Bentleigh Bayside Community Health Service, Royal District Nursing Service (RDNS); Cheltenham Village Committee; Central Bayside Division of General Practice.   • The Bayside/Kingston Prostate Support Group.
  • Men’s cooking program.
  • Men’s health information nights.

Southland Striders

The Southland Striders is a Mall Walking Project that is a supervised walking program held within the safe, secure environment of the Westfield Southland shopping centre, Cheltenham, Victoria. It is jointly developed, run and endorsed by Southern Health, Westfield Southland Shopping Centre, Kingston City Council, Waves Leisure Centre, Central Bayside Division of General Practice, Bentleigh Bayside Community Health Service and Central Bayside Community Health Services.
