Aim

The program provides a bulk billing general medical service to patients who do not have their own doctor. This program complements the services that are available at Central Bayside Community Health Services.

Service Description

Consultations are available by appointment through reception on 8587 0200 between 9-5pm daily. Please let us know if you think your health issue will require a longer appointment. If you don’t have an appointment and the matter is urgent you will be seen when a time is available or a priority basis. If you wish to cancel your appointment or cannot attend please inform the receptionist at least 4 hours prior to your appointment so other patients can be given an appointment.

For urgent medical problems out of hours please call our answering and locum service on 13 26 60. For emergencies please call an ambulance on 000 or your local hospital. Medical consultations are bulk billed at no cost to the patient. Standard fees are charged for work cover, insurance, TAC consultations etc.

It is essential that you bring your Medicare card and the address details are correct.
Home visits will be available for existing clients of the service in consultation with their health service provider and in emergencies by arrangement.

The service also has a Sexual Health Clinic and Paediatrician.
