CBCHS considers the health and safety of its staff and clients to be paramount. To this end, the Board of Management (BOM), as employing body, will provide and maintain, so far as it is practicable, for all staff and clients, a working environment that is safe and without risk to health.

To achieve CBCHS' objectives, an OH&S Committee has been formed. The objectives of the Committee are:

  • to oversee the implementation of the OH&S policy and procedures by
  • the review of potential hazard notifications, incident reports and ensuring that all necessary action is undertaken;
  • ensure that appropriate OH&S training is undertaken across CBCHS.

External bodies are also engaged to ensure that the quality of service offer to the public is maintained at a high standard. The main bodies engaged for this purpose are, QICSA, GPA ACCREDITATION plus, HACC National Standards,

Central Bayside Community Health Service is a member of the Kingston Bayside Primary Care Partnership which encourages member agencies to work together to develop a stronger, more integrated community based health and community service sector.
