Aim

Dietitians role is to assist individuals to make lifestyle changes to enhance and support treatment of certain disorders; and to motivate individuals to make changes which will improve their general health and well being through sensible eating, regular exercise and a positive outlook.

A Dietitian must complete a Degree of Nutrition and Dietetics. A continuing professional development program exists and dietitians who undergo this program are called Accredited Practicing Dietitians (APD).

Our Dietitians are APD’s and are members of the Dietitians Association of Australia.

Service Description

The service provides individual and group sessions for all age groups as required. A doctor’s referral is preferred but not necessary in all cases.

Diabetes Education groups are run from all our sites together with a comprehensive Diabetes Education Program.

We are available to anyone living or working in Kingston
